Sculpture en plâtre signée et datée à la base Henri Hébert 1939. Cette oeuvre représente Katerie Tekakwitha (1656-1680), une jeune Agniers convertie au christianisme. Elle est la toute première autochtone d'Amérique du Nord à recevoir sa béatification par Jean-Paul II en 1980, puis à être déclaré Sainte par l'Église catholique en décembre 2011 et enfin à être canonisée lors d'une cérémonie présidée par le pape Benoît XVI à Rôme, en 2012.

Plaster sculpture signed and dated on the base Henri Hébert 1939. This work represents Katerie Tekakwitha (1656-1680), a young Mohawk woman who converted to Christianity. She was the first North American native to be beatified by John Paul II in 1980, declared a saint by the Catholic Church in December 2011, and canonized in a ceremony presided over by Pope Benedict XVI in Rôme in 2012.
